Snow. I am happy. Granted, I have never been an all out winter and snow lover, but not having a traditional holiday season for the past few years while living in Florida has made me appreciate it so much. Great way to start off Thanksgiving week!

p.s. this is very uncommon for Seattle, which makes it that much more special! Anyone up for skiing?

MOG

I went with my mom and grams to the Museum of Glass in Tacoma recently. Here are some images from the visit. No cameras were allowed in the galleries, such a shame because there is an amazing exhibit and program the museum does with pictures children draw and glass artists replicate. They are amazingly creative. I highly suggest a trip to the MOG, or any glass museum near you, especially if they have live glass making demonstrations. Enjoy your Saturday!

Searching through a closet I stumbled upon some old photo albums of my mom's while she was in high school. She made a lot of her own clothing and it reminded me to utilize her when it comes to bringing out the old sewing machine:) I love JCrew's tweed mini for fall, so with some help from my lovely mother, I am going to make a fall tweed mini pour moi. Stay tuned for that-in the meantime enjoy these old photos. And yes, my parents were high school sweethearts.

Vintage Find

Golden Ticket

Rainy days call for shopping.  We popped into a local vintage shop, Two French Hens. There was nothing in particular we were looking for, which is always the best scenario since I happened to fall in love with this little beauty-gold chain mail mesh cross-body bag. Love imaging the history it has had.  I had been eyeing one in the new Nordy's catalog that just arrived, this one is much easier on the wallet:)
